Lesson Evaluation:
(Reflect on the lesson. What worked? What did not work? What would you change? Why?)
Amongst a myriad of issues, most notably I failed to introduce myself and then also didnt introduce the topic. This
may have added unnecessary confusion before we had even started.
Another problem I found was that I waffled too much, this was a big problem because since English was not the 1 st
language for these students, waffling on created more confusion.
I did try supplement the learning with example but my examples were off point and at times were more
detrimental.
In all honestly nothing really worked well but if I had introduced myself and the topic properly the students would
have had a better start since the they would have known exactly what they were doing from the get go and not
had that confusing start. I Should have been more succinct with explanations and questions rather than waffling
them on and confusing students. I should have looked into what they had done earlier in the year in the workshop
and the classroom so I could of used better examples that related better with them.
