Major Planetary Configurations

In some cases the horoscopes contain a series of aspects that form one or more
configurations. These configurations represent a powerful energy force which can be
advantageous or detrimental according to the aspects involved. Some of the
configurations formed by major aspects are :
The T- Square
The Grand Cross
The Grand Trine
The Stellium
The Yod
The T -Square

This type of configuration occurs when two planets oppose each other and both are
squared by a third planet. The T-square is a difficult combination of aspects as it indicates
the need to overcome many obstacles, but at the same time, it produces a strong driving
ambition to do so. The tension and awareness created by the two planets in opposition
must be resolved by the planet receiving the double square. This third planet becomes a
focal point of much importance in your chart. The T-square causes a lot of difficulty in the
life but they also spark action and the drive necessary to achieve. Living with the
demands of a T-square can be very challenging, but when the energy of this configuration
is well-directed by a mature individual, it often leads to significant accomplishments. The
T-square is an impetus to success that many famous people have.

The Grand Cross

The Grand Cross consists of four or more planets spread at intervals of approximately
90. This is a very uncommon byt powerful configuration. A cross or two oppositions is
formed in the chart. This configuration generally indicates a person living under
continuous stress and facing a seemingly never ending series of challenges. This aspect
places your life in a constant state of tension and upheaval. The Grand Cross is very rare.
It characterizes an individual who should be concerned with people and personal or
intimate relationships, rather than criticism, ideals, and values. It is hard for you to avoid
spilling your energies in diverse and related directions. Many obstacles will interfere with
the realization of goals.

The Grand Trine

A Grand Trine occurs when three planets are placed an equal distant apart, approximately
120 from each other. This is less common than the T-Square but is much more beneficial
in its effects. This configuration suggests that you have earned some special advantages
to be enjoyed in this life. The trines indicate a harmonious flow of energy and potential
for creative self-expression. Sometimes, however, the Grand Trine confers too much
stability and leads to inertia and a lack of motivation to dynamic action. Many with Grand
Trines do not accomplish as much as they could and should in life, simply because the
easy flow of events does not necessarily stimulate to achievement and ambition.

The Yod

A Yod occurs when two planets in sextile (60 apart) and both form an inconjunct (a 150
angle) with a third planet. The third planet in the inconjunct represents the action point of
the Yod; the mid point between the other two planets is the reaction point. This is also
referred to as the Finger of God or the Finger of Fate and is an uncommon
configuration. The configuration is usually troublesome and difficult to handle during
childhood but can develop into an ingenious force in later period. This configuration is
often foudn in the charts of spritual persons of repute.

The Stellium
A Stellium is a configuration that occurs when three or more planets are in the same sign
or are in the same house. To be truly significant, a stellium should have four or more
planets involved. This places much focus upon the affairs ruled by this house and the
tendencies shown by the sign involved. Strong will power, self-awareness, and a direct
stimulation to action will be shown in these affairs.
Disassociated Aspects
When planets are placed at the very beginning or at the very end of a sign, they
sometimes form aspects which do not adhere to the specific formula of compatible or
incompatible signs. This is called as disassociated aspects.

***
Aspect Configurations
It is not uncommon for horoscopes to contain a series of aspects that form one or more
configurations. While it is difficult to state exactly what the result of these compound
aspects may be, in a general sense we can speculate. Several of configurations formed by
major aspects are the T-Square, the Grand Cross, the Grand Trine, a Stellium, and the
Yod.

The T Square
This configuration occurs when Two planets oppose each other and both are squared by a
third planet. The T-square is a difficult combination of aspects as it indicates the need to
overcome many obstacles, but at the same time, it produces a strong driving ambition to
do so. The tension and awareness created by two planets in opposition must be resolved
by the planet receiving the double square. This third planet becomes a focal point of
much importance in your chart.

If the T square is made up of planets in cardinal signs:

This configuration suggests that you tend to be critical, impersonal, and in many ways
dominating. You have a lot of energy and you are constantly looking for ways to spend it.
The T-square configuration generates a lot of impatience in your nature and you often
make hasty decisions that you may regret later.

If the T square is made up of planets in fixed signs:

You seek structure in your life and it can be hard for you to deal with abstractions, values
and ideals. You may need to be more flexible in dealing with people; less determined and
rigid. This aspect implies endurance and resistance in the face of adversity, but it can
produce inflexibility, which inhibits progress.

If the T square is made up of planets in Mutable signs:

You tend to get emerged in criticism, ideals, and values. You are likely to consider it
important to show your individuality and avoid merely following the leader and trend of
the times. The easiest course for you may be to try to avoid or ignore difficulties, but such
action does nothing to resolve them.

In all cases:
The T-square causes a lot of difficulty in the life but they also spark action and the drive
necessary to achieve. Living with the demands of a T-square can be very challenging, but
when the energy of this configuration is well-directed by a mature individual, it often
leads to significant accomplishments. The T-square is an impetus to success that many
famous people have.

The Grand Cross

The Grand Cross consists of four or more planets spread at intervals of approximately
90. Thus, a cross or two oppositions is formed in the chart. This configuration generally
indicates a person living under continuous stress and facing a seemingly never ending
series of challenges. Likewise, the Grand Cross is also representative of the individual is
never able to rest until his purpose is actualized. This aspect places your life in a constant
state of tension and upheaval.

If the configuration is made up of planets in cardinal signs:

This configuration suggests that you tend to be critical, impersonal, and in many ways
dominate. You have a lot of energies and you are constantly looking for ways to spend it.
The cardinal cross produces a lot of impatience in your nature and you often make hasty
decisions that you may regret later.

If the configuration is made up of planets in fixed signs:

You seek structure in your life and it can be hard for you to deal with abstractions, values
and ideals. You may need to be more flexible in dealing with people; less determined and
rigid. This aspect implies endurance and resistance in the face of adversity, but it can
produce inflexibility, which inhibits progress.

If the configuration is made up of planets in Mutable signs:

You tend to get emerged in criticism, ideals, and values. You should be aware of the
importance for you to show your individuality and avoid merely following the leader and
trend of the times. The easiest course for you may be to try to avoid or ignore difficulties,
but such action does nothing to resolve them.

In all cases:
The Grand Cross is very rare. It characterizes an individual who should be concerned
with people and personal or intimate relationships, rather than criticism, ideals, and
values. It is hard for you to avoid spilling your energies in diverse and related directions.
Many obstacles will interfere with the realization of goals.

The Grand Trine

A Grand Trine occurs when three planets are placed an equal distant apart, approximately
120 from each other. A karmic interpretation of this configuration might be that you
have earned some special advantages to be enjoyed in this life. The trines indicate a
harmonious flow of energy and potential for creative self-expression. Sometimes,
however, the Grand Trine confers too much stability and leads to inertia and a lack of
motivation to dynamic action. Frankly, many with Grand Trines do not accomplish as
much as they could and should in life, simply because the easy flow of events does not
necessarily stimulate to achievement and ambition.

The Stellium
A Stellium is a configuration that occurs when three or more planets are in the same sign
or are in the same house. To be truly significant, a stellium should have four or more
planets involved. This places much focus upon the affairs ruled by this house and/or the
tendencies shown by the sign involved. Strong will power, self-awareness, and a direct
stimulation to action will be shown in these affairs.

The Yod
A Yod occurs when two planets in sextile (60 apart) both form an inconjunct (a 150
angle) with a third planet. The third planet in the inconjunct represents the action point of
the Yod; the mid point between the other two planets is the reaction point. The action
point of the configuration is sometimes called the "finger of God," and the finger formed
by the two inconjuncts points to a place in your chart likely to be very active. The Yod is
believed by many astrologers to be a karmic configuration, and it suggests that there is a
compulsive "debt" repayment associated with the area of the chart pointed out.

WHAT IS A T-SQUARE OR T-CROSS?

If you are looking at a Natal Chart that I wrote for you, the
T-SQUARE in the middle of your Chart Wheel will be the
color RED for the square lines and the color GREEN for the
opposition lines. In the picture to the right, the longest line
running through the middle of the chart will be GREEN for
the opposition line in the charts that I write for you instead
of RED that you see to the right.

A T-Square or T-Cross is when two planets are in opposition

aspect to each other (180 degrees) and both making a square
aspect of (90 degrees) to a third planet. It's an isosceles triangle!

View the 2 T-Square's in: Martha Stewart's Chart below. The other side of the T-
Square is Jupiter in Gemini in the 8th house. It's saying, "USE YOUR JUPITER IN
GEMINI IN YOUR 8TH HOUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY!" Interestingly enough,
Martha Stewart's company is called "Omni-Media." Media is ruled by the sign of
Gemini and Omni means "all or everywhere." Omni is a Jupiter rulership because
Jupiter is the most expansive and abundant planet in our Solar System and seeks to
take up a lot of space, in space. It makes me wonder if she had an astrologer help her
with this name or did she migrate to this name herself. Either way, it is what it is,
and as it turn's out . . she used the energy negatively . . but she will recover and
eventually use it positively.

Both square and opposition aspects are supposed to be stressful aspects, which can
panic the neophytes in astrology when they see they have a T-Square in their natal
chart. This is a frequent chart aspect in most successful people. And most successful
people can tell you that their success has had its ups and downs, yet they keep moving
toward their intended goal. Would you believe Oprah Winfrey has a T-Square? When
you think of the challenges she has openly admitted to the world, it makes perfect
sense. T-Squares give a person experience, wisdom and character.

Therefore, you will more than likely see T-Square's in the natal charts of CEO's,
leaders, famous or creative people because there is nothing that would stop them from
attaining their goal. And because of the challenges they experienced, this makes them
all the more successful since the focus was brought about by the T-Square.

Having a T-Square is like driving a car with 3 wheels. It's obvious you're only driving
with 3 wheels so identifying and fixing the problem is fairly easy. If you drove a car
with three wheels, you'd have a fairly Good idea what to do in order to fix the car
and make it driveable.

So which point do you look at to identify the problem? Look to the planet that is at
the 90 degree angle and then look directly across to the other side of the chart and
THAT is the point focus. What planet is there and what sign is it in? If there is no
planet there, then look at that particular house to see what the house focus is. Then
focus on the house rulerships for the answer to any problems.

If a "singleton" planet is involved, then this is the point focus. A "singleton" planet is
one that is sitting by itself and away from any other planets, yet it is involved in the
T-Square.

You can also look to see where there is emptiness. A T-Square is really a Grand Cross
with a planet missing on the other side. Look to see what is on the opposite side of the
chart that is not part of the T-Square and see what sign is over there. There's a clue
right there. Look to the house position, the sign that is represented there and any
planets involved.

By the way, T-Squarer's never give up!

Aspect Patterns
Grand Trines | T-Squares | Grand Squares | Yods
What is an Aspect Pattern?
When several aspects occur in the same chart (or simultaneously), they can create larger
aspect patterns. Instead of one aspect, several planets in aspect can create a larger aspect
pattern. These larger patterns can signify a complex personality pattern, referred to by
psychologists as "complexes".

Aspect patterns have a major influence on your personality and character by creating greater
ease or resistance. They can also be set off and stepped up by transiting and progressed
planets. A natal trine may become a Grand Trine whenever a third planet enters the part of
the zodiac that trines both planets already in trine. A T-Square can become a Grand Square,
and a sextile can become a Yod. This can also happen in relation to other people and their
planets can form larger aspect patterns with yours. Having these aspects together can create
feelings of immediate rapport and significant relationship dynamics or something you are both
attracted to work on or understand.

Grand Trines
When 2 planets make a trine (120 degree angle), and there is a 3rd planet that also makes
trines to both planets, this triangle is called a Grand Trine. Imagine a planet at 0 degrees
Aries, another at 0 Leo and a 3rd at 0 Sagittarius, and this is a Grand Trine. The 3 planets that
make up a Grand Trine are usually in the same ELEMENT. They don't have to be, as some
aspects are very close, yet out-of-sign. However, the principle of a Grand Trine is that there or
3 (or more) planets trine each other in the same element. When you see a Grand Trine in a
chart, it looks like a large triangle. A Grand Trine aspect pattern can create a feeling of ease
and complacency because things seem to "just happen" seamlessly, without effort, friction, or
force. This can signify a special talent or ability that appears effortless, but it can also signal a
tendency to be lazy or complacent because things come so easily that there is nothing to
prove and talent is never fully developed. Your tendency can be to leave the tough stuff for
another day. With a Grand Trine, there's always tomorrow....

T-Squares and Grand Squares

When 3 planets square each other, they form a triangle called a T-Square. In a T-Square,
there is one planet that squares 2 other planets that oppose each other. If you envision a
planet at 0 degrees Aries with a planet square it from 0 Capricorn and another at 0 Cancer,
this is a T-Square. If there is also a 4th planet in square with the others, for example a planet
at 0 degrees Libra, this creates a Grand Square pattern.

A T-Square is a challenging aspect that signifies a struggle that intensifies and eventually
leads to a resolution. While T-Square configurations are common, they signify an inherent
challenge that forces growth or change that can lead to success in life. The focal planet, or
planet that squares the opposing planets, is the key to the T-Square and shows where tension
is most likely to show up. Conflict resolution may be aided by the missing or empty part of the
Square (opposing the focal planet).

While T-Squares are often found in charts, Grand Squares are less common and often signify
a weight to bear that keeps you on a short leash. It may seem like access is continuously
denied and you are restricted to a small area where growth is only possible with discipline and
hard work. For some reason or another, you are continually stressed and need to consciously
maintain balance, always being forced to stick to the straight and narrow. Somehow, these
people often learn to carry big loads and are capable of effectively handling large
responsibilities. However, they can also feel overstressed and overburdened at times.

Yods
In a YOD pattern, 2 planets make a sextile, and they both make a quincunx (inconjunct or 150
degree aspect) to a 3rd planet, creating a triangle, or Yod. If you imagine a planet at 0 Aries
and 2 planets sextile each other at 0 Virgo and 0 Scorpio, this is a Yod.

Yods are called the "finger of God" and have a connotation of being receptive to messages
from higher states of consciousness. While Yods can be exotic and you can enjoy the
adventure of feeling like a stranger in a strange land, you may also need to make consessions
and be adaptive to unfamiliar situations when you have a Yod in your chart. It may be that
you give in one direction and get your needs met from a completely different source, so it is
not possible to measure how much others give you to decide how much you can give.

You have a T-Cross (also called the T-Square) when two planets
that make an opposition aspect (180 degrees) are both making
a square aspect (90 degrees) to some third planet. Draw lines
connecting all three and you have a T.

Since the square and opposition aspects are supposed to be

stressful BAD aspects, beginners usually get terrified
whenever they spot a T-Cross in a horoscope. Guess what?
This configuration frequently appears in the charts of business
leaders, corporation presidents, and other dynamic people.
Thats because the stress is focused. Having a T-Cross is like
sitting on a 3-legged chair. You know where the problem is, and
that makes it easier to fix.

The planet that makes the square aspects with the opposing
planets gets emphasized. We say that it is in Point Focus. That
means it gains in importance when you are interpreting the
chart. However, in my experience, being in Point Focus is not
as strong as being singleton. If one of the other planets in the T-
Cross happens to be the only one in a particular element,
quality, or house type, it will have a greater effect than the Point
Focus planet.

The way out of the potential problems that all those stress
aspects can cause is indicated by the empty leg. After all, a T is
like a cross with a missing piece. All you have to do is draw a
line completing the cross and see the house and sign where it
lands. Thats the area of your life where the solution can be
found.
Lets take a look at some examples.

Oprah Winfrey: has a T-Cross in Fixed signs. Mercury in Aquarius

is opposite Pluto in Leo. Both have square aspects from Mars in
Scorpio. Mars (energy and action) is in Point Focus, giving plenty
of energy. The empty leg of the cross is opposite that 11th house
Mars. That means the focus is on her 5th house, the house of
romance, creativity, and self-expression, as well as fun and
games. She has to be having lots of fun doing that show (and
all those other activities). Basically, her occupation is just being
Oprah and that is a very 5th house. The T-Cross is in Fixed signs
and they have to do with values. Through her show (and now
the magazine) she affects the opinions and values of millions.
The empty sign in the T-Cross is Taurus, a sign of money,
possessions, and resources. Yes, Oprah has made a lot of
money for herself. And every time she recommends something,
it becomes a best seller.

Reverend Jim Bakker: has a T-Cross in Mutable signs. Mars in

Pisces is opposite Neptune in Virgo. Mercury in Sagittarius squares
both of them. Both the sign of Pisces and its ruling planet
Neptune are associated with religious and spiritual matters. On
the negative side, they also rule illusions, deception, swindles,
and self-undoing. Mercury, which is in Point Focus, is a planet
of communications. That includes lies. The empty leg of the
cross is in the 4th house (home and private affairs) in the sign of
Gemini (communications and day-to-day specifics) an indication
for him to get his own house in order first. What he actually did
was to buy a large house. Eventually, he wound up in the big
house. The T-Cross is in Mutable signs. Once again, this
emphasizes communications.

The situation is complicated by that Mars in Pisces. Its his only

planet in a Water Sign. This makes it a Singleton so it draws the
charts energy in a different direction, towards his 1st house
(self). Thats what got him into trouble.

Winona Ryder: also has a T-Cross in Mutable Signs. Her Moon

(emotions) is in sensitive, dreamy Pisces and is in Point Focus.
Saturn (both ambition and depression) squares from Gemini
(communications) in her 6th house (work). A wide conjunction of
Jupiter (luck, expansion) and Neptune (imagination, illusions)
completes the T-Cross. They are both in Winonas 12th house
(self-undoing) opposite her Saturn and square the Moon.
Those oppositions are interesting enough all by themselves.
Jupiter (expansion) opposite Saturn (contraction) can give
bipolar tendencies. The old term for this was manic depressive.
Saturn opposite Neptune (illusions) tends to worry about things
that arent there, or about possible future disasters that never
happen. I call Saturn/Neptune stress aspects Woody Allen
aspects after the hysterical hypochondriac characters he plays.
So Winona has a potential problem here.

Fortunately for her, both ends of that opposition are making

harmonious aspects to her Mid-Heaven (career). Neptune (film)
and Jupiter make sextiles. Saturn makes a trine. This means
she can take any negative emotions and release them through
her characters. The Neptune illusions become the ability to
create an illusion on screen. And as long as she is busy, Saturn
manifests as ambition and discipline instead of depression.

The empty leg of Winonas T-Cross lands in her 9th house

(religion, philosophy, the principles we live by, long journeys,
higher education) and in the sign of Virgo (work, details). One
way out of that T-Cross is to develop a practical, detailed
personal philosophy. Another would be to take long trips that
are work related. But that Saturn is Singleton by chart shape. It
stands out all by itself so it can funnel the charts energy to the
other side. Fortunately, is sits in her 6th house (work) so the
interpretation is the same. Keep busy Winona.

Gennifer Flowers: has a T-Cross in Cardinal signs. Her Moon in

Aries is opposite Neptune in Libra. Both are squared by Mercury in
Capricorn. The Moon so close to the Mid-Heaven tends to bring
her or what she does before the public. Mercury, the
communications planet, is, once again, in Point Focus. A good
combination for a reporter. The presence of Neptune, however,
gives a talent for embellishing reality. This gives a talent for
fiction writing (NO, this is Not a comment on her news stories or
her statements about that affair with President Clinton!). The
Mercury/Neptune square is maddening. People with this one
can remember things that seem impossible to remember, but
little, obvious day-to-day things slip right under the nose. This is
particularly difficult for someone with Mercury in Capricorn, like
Gennifer, because Mercury in that sign goes crazy if it forgets
one little thing (guess where my Mercury is).

The T-Cross itself has that empty leg aiming towards her 12th
house. Thats the house of hidden things and self-undoing. No,
that does not mean the problems of the T can be resolved by
doing herself in! It could be a plus though, if one were doing
investigative reporting, finding out hidden things and bringing
them to the light of day.

The Cardinal sign emphasis of her T-Cross makes Gennifer

action oriented, going from crisis to crisis and loving it.

Marilyn Monroe had a T-Cross in Fixed signs. Neptune in Leo

was opposite both the Moon and Jupiter in Aquarius. Saturn in
Scorpio gets to be in Point Focus by squaring all three. With her
Moon (emotions) square Saturn and widely conjunct Jupiter,
Marilyn's mood swings must have really been a problem.
Neptune adds fantasy (and drugs, and alcohol). But that T-
Cross aims straight up, towards her 10th house (career). Saturn
is ambition, Jupiter is luck, the Moon is the public, and
Neptune rules film. The rest, as they say, is history.

The fixed nature of Marilyns T-Cross showed that she had to

concentrate on values, stability, things that are fixed and stable.
Instead, most of her work was in light comedies, and in her
personal life, she got caught on the crossbar of her T and went
from one relationship to another. That Neptune opposite Jupiter
expected every fleeting relationship to be the real thing. Those
squares from Saturn always brought her crashing down.

Monica Lewinsky: has a Cardinal T-Cross. Uranus in Libra is

opposite Mars in Aries. Both are squared by Mercury in Cancer,
which makes this planet of communications the Point Focus.
Ok, so the square between Mercury and Uranus is a little bit
narrow. The rule is that whenever planets make a special
pattern (like a T-Cross) slightly wider orbs may be used for the
aspects.

A Cardinal T-Cross needs crisis, action, and excitement. I think

everyone can agree that Monica outdid herself in that
department. The empty leg of the T aims towards her 4th house
(home, the foundations of the life). What Ms. Lewinsky has to
concentrate on is making her own personal life solid and stable.
That will make it easier for her to go on to future adventures.

Gandhi: had a Fixed T-Cross. What a chart! Jupiter in Taurus

opposes both Venus and Mars in Scorpio. The Moon is in Point
Focus by squaring all of them. But the Moon is also part of a
Grand Trine in Fire signs. A very rare and powerful combination.
The Moon in the 10th house is good for getting noticed. That
placement can give an emotional need for attention, especially
when in Leo, the show business sign. But Cancer, the sign ruled
by the Moon, is on the cusp (beginning) of the 9th house which,
among other things, rules religion and the principles we live by.
Gandhi's principles were certainly one of the most prominent
things about him.

The Fixed nature of his T-Cross literally had to do with

principles. And as far as fixity of purpose, the many decades he
spent fighting what was then one of the worlds mightiest
nations for Indian independence is well known.

The empty leg of his T-Cross lies in his 4th house. Home and
domestic environment? But Gandhi seemed to be in public
constantly. The answer is that the 4th house rules more than
domestic environment. It also shows your foundations, the basis
of your life. And it rules homeland as well. Gandhi did more than
anyone else to achieve independence for his homeland, India.
He re-founded an entire country. The Fixed Sign nature of his T-
Cross gave him enormous persistence (fixed purpose) and
placed his emphasis on his values. He didnt do it with guns, but
with a philosophy of non-violence.

Reverend Jim Jones: had a Cardinal sign T-Cross. Saturn in

Capricorn opposed Pluto in Cancer. Venus squared both and was
in Point Focus. Venus is, among other things, charm. You need
plenty of that to be a cult leader, of course. But charm alone is
not enough. Pluto square Venus gives the desire for raw power.
Saturn squaring on the other side values control over feeling.
The empty leg of the T-Cross lands in the 9th house, which rules
both religion and long journeys. A T-Cross in Cardinal Signs
keeps moving from project to project, from crisis to crisis. He
moved his entire cult from San Francisco to Guyana when the
going got tough. When it looked like he was going to loose
some members, he had the U.S. Congressman who was taking
them away killed. He then had all his followers drink cyanide
laced Kool Aid.

Lenny Bruce: also had a Cardinal sign T-Cross. Jupiter in

Capricorn was opposite Pluto in Cancer. His Sun and Mars in Libra
squared both of them. An unusual situation. Mars and the Sun
are too far apart to be considered together. What we really have
here are Two T-Crosses. The one with Mars as Point Focus
aims towards his 3rd house (communications) and he certainly
did plenty of that. Communications are also emphasized by that
singleton Uranus in his 3rd house. Uranus is the spout on a
funnel chart, and Uranus loves to shock.

His Sun, however, is right at the top in his 10th house (career).
Well, that can get you plenty of attention. But that T-Cross
empties out into his 4th house, home, domestic environment,
and the foundations of your life. That was the area he
neglected, and that was what eventually brought him down.

Clint Eastwood: has a rather wide T-Cross in Cardinal Signs.

Saturn in Capricorn has an opposition aspect with his Venus in
Cancer. Uranus in Aries squares Saturn and makes a narrow
square with Venus. Cardinal signs are certainly the thing you
would expect for all those action roles. But beyond that,
Cardinal signs always look for new worlds to conquer. Clint has
done it all: comedy, drama, action roles, romantic lead (The
Bridges of Madison County), and he has produced and
directed as well. And Uranus (originality, independence, the
unexpected) in the sign of Aries (action, aggression) in his 5th
house (romance and creativity) points in the same direction.

The empty leg of his T-Cross lands in his 11th house (friends,
hopes, wishes). Any relief from the stresses and strains of his T-
Cross can be found by spending time with friends, or by further
pursuing his own hopes and wishes. Nice work if you can get it.
And he did.
