B. Identify the different kinds of triangle under each classification.
C. Select real world examples of triangles.

a) Exploration (Activity)
The teacher will post different kinds of pictures of triangles on the right
part of the board and on the other side will be the names of the triangles.
The teacher will randomly select six (6) students to match the picture on
the right and the name on the left and post it on the middle of the board.
The teacher will then check the answers.

b) Firming Up (Analysis)
Base on the answers on the board, what are the two classification of
triangle?
What are the kinds of triangle under each classification?

c) Deepening (Abstraction)

Triangle a shape that has three (3) sides.

Classification:

Triangles by Length

Equilateral Triangle all sides have the same length.

Isosceles Triangle two sides have the same length.
Scalene Triangle none of the sides have the same length.
Triangles by Angles
Equiangular Triangle- all angles are equal.
Right Triangle one of the angles is a right angle - an angle of 90
degrees.
Obtuse Triangle one angle is greater than a right angle it is more
than 90 degrees.
 Acute Triangle all angle are less than right angles less than 90
degrees.
