As shown above,
For the SAMPLE (BEST/SUPER): F is greater than the F critical ( F > Fcrit ), therefore, reject the null hypothesis.
For the COLUMNS (COLD, WARM, HOT): F is greater than the F critical ( F > Fcrit ), therefore, reject the null hypothesis.
For the INTERACTION: F is greater than the F critical ( F > Fcrit ), therefore, reject the null hypothesis.
The effect of temperature on the amount of dirt removed is dependent on the brand of the detergent used; and the
effect of the brand on dirt removed on clothes is dependent on the temperature too. The method used is two-way
anova with replication because more than one with nominal variables are observed. Looking at the p-value of the three,
we can say that there is a significant difference between the observations.
