ADMISSION NOTICE
4 Years Diploma in Tool & Die Making
Tool Room and Training Centre has come up in Tatisilwai Industrial Area, Ranchi.
The centre is conducting 4 years Diploma in Tool and Die Making with similar pattern as
being conducted by other Tool Rooms in the country. The new batch of Tool and Die
Making will start from August 2008.
Applications are invited from the candidates belonging to Jharkhand State, who fulfill the
basic norms prescribed for admission to this course. Separate hostel facilities are available
for boys & girls candidate inside the campus.
How to apply
The prospectus can be obtained in person from Jharkhand Government Mini Tool Room &
Training Centre, Tatisilwai, Industrial Area, located on Ranchi-Muri Road,(opposite Usha
Martin Industries, Ranchi) on the payment of Rs 500/- (Rs 300/- in case of
SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates) in cash or by a Demand Draft from any
nationalized bank in the favour of Jharkhand Government Mini Tool Room &
Training Centre, Ranchi) during the working hours (9 AM to 3 PM). Candidates
desiring to have the prospectus by post should send the Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- (Rs
300/- for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates) to The Principal on above mentioned
address along with a self addressed envelope (9x11 ) with Rs. 50/- Postage stamp.
Girls can also apply.
Eligibility of the Candidates
a) Age: Candidate should not be less than 15 years & should not be more than 19 years as
on 1-08-2008.(relaxation up to 22 years in case of candidates belonging to
SC/ST/OBC/PH)
b) Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least
50% marks (40% for SC/ST/PH) in aggregate in Mathematics & Science (Physics &
Chemistry).
c) Mode of selection: All eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for an entrance
test to be held on 27th July 2008. More details in the prospectus.
d) Reservation of seat: As per Jharkhand State Government Norms.
