Let it be The Beatles

Music speaks of our lives. Let it be is a song written and sung by Paul
McCartney, who is a member of the famous English rock band called The
Beatles. This son is one of the most recognized in the world and have been on
the Billboard Hot 100. It was recorded by Apple Studios between 1969 and 1970
and was released in March 6 of 1970. It belongs to the genre rock, pop and
gospel. The length of this song is 3:50 for single version and 4:03 for album
version. It was the last song recorded by Paul McCartney, before he announced
he leave the band.
The origin of this song is associated with a dream that McCartney had about
his mother. Probably, the cause of that dream, according with McCartney, is that
he had a tense period surrounding the sessions for The Beatles in 1968. When
you hear the song you can think it looks like a religious song but the really is that
McCartney is talking about his mother when he says Mother Mary that in this
cases is not a biblical person like the mother of Jesus Christ. The mother of
McCartney died of cancer when he was fourteen and when he remember her in
the dream, he took much inspiration to do a famous song! I relate this to my life
because in many dreams I have met relatives that I could never meet: my
grandparents, for example. In those dreams I have felt how they talk to me and
give me advice that, like in McCartney's case, they serve as motivation to do
something new in your life. In my life, like the song: When I find myself in times
of trouble someone comes to me, speaking words of wisdom!
The critical reception of the song have been well. Some people consider that
this is a melody with a lyrics pseudo-religious. Others see in this song the best
song that McCartney has done! Personally, I consider that this is a beautiful song
not only for the melody and the voice of the singer but for the lyrics that represent
a meeting between a person living in this world and a person that is in the heaven.
I feel sad but also excited to move on when I hear this amazing song! This song
suggest about leaving problems behind and moving on in life!
