The song's artist is the band Vacations, as multiple artists are performing under the
name Vacations. 

The genre of the band is an indie-rock. The song young also has a tempo of 80. It was
released on the 9th of December in 2016 and had three minutes. The song was also in
their album Vibes. The song young by vacations was about being young and enjoying
the youth while struggling with life's ups and downs. The music starts with a drum,
guitar, and bass guitar, then onto the lyrics.

The lyrics begin with, "another day goes by, and where was I? Didn't think I'd still be
here just to make things clear" this is about everyday life as a struggle, and every day is
just a repeating cycle, struggling to make a change. 

"What's the use? I'm not talking sense. Call it a ruse on myself. I wanted to go. I wanted
to say all things come to pass with time, but I want everything now to be alright." This
part of the lyric talks about the struggling to find a reason to do things and hopes that
everything will be alright. 

"You think it's all over? Get up and try again. You've got to act your age, darling, before
you fall back in". This part of the lyric, I think, talks about getting up from falling and
being mature, just like in the musical "you have to act your age darling," enough before
you fall again. 

While listening to the song, it sort of has a nostalgic feeling, remembering your past and
enjoying the good times. As this is their most played song, I feel like many people may
themselves to the lyrics of the music because this is an anthem of being young and as a
youth coping through life's rollercoaster of ups and downs is something that people can
relate to in their lives.
