    JIMS BIRTHDAY PRESENTS

    Today its February 12th and it is Jims birthday. Jim is my friend from school. I spend all days
    with him. Today he is having a party at home with his family. I am bringing him a present. A great
    present.

    At the party everyone sings, Happy Birthday! Everyone is enjoying the party. They all look
    happy and excited for Jim.

    Jim has twelve candles on his cake.He makes a wish and blows the candles. After that, he
    opens his presents.
    Jims mother and father give him a bicycle.
    Jims little sister gives him a computer game.
    Jims uncle gives him a basketball jersey.
    Jims grandparents give him 30 dollars!

    He is very happy and excited that everyone is at his party.


    "Thank you!" he says to everyone.

    He likes all his presents, but he likes the 30 dollars best.


    It means he can go to the store and buy anything he wants!
    Can we go to the store now, Mom? asks Jim.
    His mom says: Jim, everybody is still here. You cant leave now. We can take you to the store
    tomorrow.
    That night, Jim dreams of all the things he might buy with his 30 dollars.

    Maybe I might buy a video game!


    Maybe I might buy a camera!
    Maybe I might buy a CD!
    In the morning, Mom takes Jim and his little sister to the store.

    The video game costs more than 30 dollars.


    The camera costs more than 30 dollars.
    The CD costs 20 dollars. He doesnt spend the 30 dollars on the CD, so he buys his little sister
    a doll.
