We had faced below Non-distributed price difference case during Feb2017 MEC.

We have gone through

several SAP notes released in this area. To be more precise we have understood how SAP works on this
Non-Distributed case. We have clearly understood price limiter logic where SAP will limit the quantity
for calculating PUP based on cumulative inventory.

We have used No stock coverage check while closing ML Cockpit. Please see the below case

Case 1:

Before posting MR22 document and using No stock coverage check while closing Material ledger

Total price difference from receipts and invoices is 41,377.14 RUB , System has calculated Non
distributed based on the below logic, CKMLPP- PBPOPO field qty is 41,520 whereas the cumulative
inventory is 25,128

We could see the total qty for which price difference to be posted is 41,520 Pc based on the invoice and
goods receipts. That is qty for which price difference was collected is greater than the quantity it must
be distributed.
Total price difference is - 276,274,853.23 which should be distributed to 41520 PC, since cumulative
inventory is only 25,128. Price difference is distributed to only 25,128 is as below

Distributed is (25,128/41520) * -276,274,853.23 = 167202180

Non-distributed = 276,274,853.23 167202180109,072,673.27

Since we have used No-stock coverage check total price difference was distributed to consumption and
ending inventory, PUP has been impacted hugely. This incorrect PUP will impact finished goods PUP and
will lead to incorrect reporting. Hence we posted MR22 and reduced the price difference

Case 2: After posting MR22

Our major concern is why system has calculated Non- distributed as 109,072,673.27 in Case 1 where the
total price difference occurred is for both goods receipts and invoices is just 41,377.14 RUB.

If a part of price difference from 41,377.14 was not distributed from the total price difference that was
occurred from goods receipts and invoices it would be correct according to our understanding but it is
not the same and in turn this non distributed price difference had impacted PUP
