INT. ANDERSONS HOUSE - NIGHT

A group of friends are at Andersons(a 12-year-old boy, short hair,

tall)house. Anderson, Mindy(14-year-old-girl, short brown hair),
Andrew (14-year-old-boy, best friends with Anderson), Todd (the
oldest of all of them, 16-years-old). Are all planning to play the
ouija board.

Ayy guys. We should go to that haunted h

ANDERSON
ould you go with us?

Mindy nodes her head yes.

ANDERSON
bout you Todd?
What a

Anderson l ooks and Todd but h e doesn't look back at him. Todd shakes
his head y es. He then looks d own, rubbing his hand.

MINDY
When are we going? Today?

ANDERSON
If you guys can all c
ome today w

ANDREW

Can e

ALL CHARACTERS

They all go out the house and Anderson goes to get the board from his
basement. They all walk out the house.

EXT. ANDERSONS HOUSE - NIGHT

They are waiting for Anderson to come out. Seconds pass and Anderson
comes out the front door with the board, flashlights, and candles.
Anderson hands them to each of them, and they begin to walk towards
the house.

EXT. SIDEWALK - NIGHT

re all walking silently. The wind blowS and the trees swaying.

EXT. HAUNTED HOUSE - NIGHT

They finally get to the front of the house. They are looking for a
way to get in.

MINDY
How are we going to g

ANDERSON
We can check from the back a
nd see if a
ny w
indow o
r d
oors a
re open.

They walk through the g

ate and go towards t he back of the house.
Anderson is the first t o get to the back. H e sees that a window is
broken.

ANDERSON(Whispers)
uys! This window is open.
Come g

They all go to the window and climb through it.

INT. HAUNTED HOUSE - NIGHT

They walk around the house to find a good place to play. They pass
the kitchen and go into the living room. They see the kitchen its
all ruined and broken down, dust and cobwebs everywhere. Set up the
game. Anderson takes the board out and places it on the floor, the
cracky old floor. Andrew then takes out the candles and lights them

up. He places them in a circle. They all then sit inside the candle
circle around the game board. They all look at each other and place
two fingers on the planchet.

ANDERSON
Ready?

ALL
Mmmhmmm.

Anderson moves the planchet in a circle.

ANDERSON
Is anyone there?

Everyone except Todd is waiting for the planchet to move.

No movement. They wait for a few seconds.

TODD

ANDREW

ANDERSON

MINDY
See its not a hoax now hush.

ANDERSON

Planchet moves slowly letter by letter Anny.

ANDERSON

They all just look at Anderson in shock.

MINDY
Why would you ask that.

Gives an angry look at Andrew. Andrew shrugs his shoulders.

MINDY

TODD
That could have easily been the wind. A ll this g host
talk is boring. You guys want to play h ide and s eek?

Hard wind begins to blow. The curtains start to move.

ALL
Okay

ANDERSON
Wait. We have to say goodbye.

TODD
No we don't. All this is a lie
How can we c

umb board?

MINDY

INT. HAUNTED HOUSE KITCHEN - NIGHT

Todd gets up and walks to the kitchen. Todd looks out the window.
Leaning on the kitchen sink he sees something outside. He squints his
eyes to see what it is, but it disappears. But Todd ignores it and
walks back into the living room

INT. LIVING ROOM- NIGHT

TODD
Inny mini miney moe.
Mindy you're out.

MINDY
Yes!

Todd keeps the cycle going until the last person.

TODD
Andrew you're it

ANDREW
Do I have to be alone??

MINDY
Yes.

ANDREW
But its dark. How about w

o home?

TODD
You guys wanted t
o come, s
o s
uck it up.

ANDREW
Fine!

They a re all playing inside the haunted house in the dark. Everyone
is a l ittle creeped except Todd.

ANDREW

While Andrew is counting, t hey all run off to find a place to hide,
Some go upstairs and some s tay on the first floor and run around.
Mindy goes running up the s tairs and runs into a room.

INT. HAUNTED HOUSE BEDROOM - NIGHT

Mindy is surprised by how big the room is, walks around the room and
finds a bathroom. She walks in and remembers when Anderson was
telling them all about what had happened in the house.

(flashback)

ANDERSON
In the house the wife killed two of her children in the bathroom of
her room. She drowned them and her other child just watched her do
it, because she was so paranoid. People say the mother still haunts
the house trying to kill people as if they were her children.
(Flashback ends)

MINDY
Ahhhhhhh!

Nobody hears, Anderson thought it would be f unny if he went outside

to chill while Andrew is looking for them. T odd finds a good hiding
spot in the basement.

INT. BASEMENT- NIGHT

odd hears s
omeone walking down the stairs, so he quickly hides
behind some b oxes. He sees a black figure walk back and forth then it
disappears. H e thinks it is Andrew looking for him.

TODD
Hahahahaha. He didnt even see me a
nd h

alked by me twice.

Todd walks out of his hiding spot a

nd tries to hear f ootsteps to see
where Andrew is going. He doesnt h ear a sound. All o f a sudden the
boxes fall down.
(Todd gasps)

eaves so he wont get caught,
because that n oise was loud e nough t o hear in the whole house.

INT. HAUNTED HOUSE - NIGHT

T
odd is walking around the house trying to find a hiding spot. He
goes in a big room and inside are is antique furniture with no dust
or cobwebs. Todd is surprised when he sees the whole house is all
torn down and old, except this room. He just looks around the room
admiring the nice furniture, and trying to figure out how this room
is clean and neat. He hears the door knob shaking and Todd quickly
hides underneath the bed . He feels a heavy breathing on the right
side of his upper body. He then, turns arounds and sees that nobody
is there. He starts breathing heavy and tries to get out from under
the bed fast. He shakes it off. He is just sitting on the bed
thinking about the weird things he just experienced. Todd looks up
and sees the same black figure on the ceiling. He squints his eyes
then rubs them. After he was done rubbing his eyes he sees the black
figure is in front of him. He doesnt move. Todd walks back and falls
on the bed. He tries to get up from the bed. Todd grunts struggling
to move, moving his arms with all the strength he had back and forth
and side to side. Todd gets super scared he almost wet himself.

oom and sees Mindy is pulling o n the
door, the d oor t hen flings open a nd she stumbles a little. She r uns
out.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE HOUSE - NIGHT

Andrew stopped trying to look for Todd and mindy. He sits next to
Anderson outside on the back porch. Suddenly they hear a bang inside
the house. They both turn and look at each other. They look at the
front door. Mindy and Todd running are towards them frightened.

ANDREW
What happened?

ANDERSON
Todd, Mindy where were y
ou guys?

No response. They dont say anything b ecause they were still in

shock. Mindy is shaking and Todd was n on-stop crying. Anderson and
Andrew look at eachother confused.

ANDERSON

Spirits, ghost, Demons whatever y

Text onscreen (Months passed.)

Camera shows T odd, M indy, Andrew, and Anderson passing by each other
not saying a w ord. T hey stopped being friends and they went back to
their normal l ives a nd never spoke about the night in the scary
house.
