Read the letter below and answer the questions that follow.

Hi Anabelle,

How are you? I received your letter yesterday and was quite surprised. I thought you were busy.
By the way, there was a flood at my place two days ago. At midnight, our neighbours woke us up from
our sleep. They told us that the water level was rising. My house is at the lowest part of the hill. A really
unlucky spot at that time!

Luckily, my neighbours offered to help. We moved all that we could to the second floor. It was
not an easy tasks as some furniture was heavy. The rain stopped at 2 a.m. we were all very tired and
sleepy. My mother asked them to stay for some hot chocolate and biscuits. All this while, we were so
busy that we did not have time to chat. That night, everybody was talking at the same time.

Well, I have to pen off now. Take a good care of yourself. Bye.

Yours sincerely,
farah
