Hazrat Aysha(RA).

The Mother of the Believers was unique in

every aspect. She was the third and the youngest wife of
prophet (PBUH).
It was narrated by Amr bin Al-As that:
I came to the Prophet SAWW and said, Who is the most
beloved person to you? He said, Aysha. I asked, Among the
men? He said, Her father.
Early life:
Hazrat Aysha was the daughter of Umm Ruman and one of the
Prophets companions, Abu Bakar (the rst caliph of Islam after
the death of the Prophet). She married Muhammad(SAWW) at
a young age. Her intelligence, beauty, and spirited personality
are well recorded in historical sources. The hadith tradition
records a unique level of intimacy shared by the Prophet
(PBUH) and Aysha (RA)
There are several occasions of ayaat of the Quran being
revealed because of Aysha RA. She also saw the angel Jibreel
(alaihi salam) personally.
Efforts:
Aysha(RA) continued teaching Islam and narrating hadiths
throughout. In the lifetime of the Prophet (PBUH) she, together
with Muhammad (SAWW)s other wives, was referred to as
Mother of the Believers. She is known to have transmitted
approximately 1,210 traditions (hadiths), only 300 of which are
included in the canonical hadith collections of Bukhari and
Muslim. She is said to have transmitted hadith to at least eighty-
ve Muslims, as well as to have corrected inaccuracies in the
hadiths reported by some of the Prophets male companions. .
Abu Moosa al-Ashari said, Whenever a hadith was unclear to
us (the Companion), and we asked Aysha about it, we always
gained knowledge about that hadith from her.

Several of the best chains of narration go back to her, among

them Ubaydullah ibn Umar from Qasim from Aysha, which is
considered a golden chain
Battle of camels:
One thing that was clear to everyone was that if Ali Ra was able
to consolidate his government, one of the rst things that he
would do, would be to institute investigations into the murder
of Uthman ra, and it was inevitable that the trail of criminal
prosecutions would lead to the rebel leaders themselves.
Death:
Aisha died at the age of 66, on Tuesday 17th of Ramadan, 58
AH. Her funeral prayer was led by Abu Hurairah (RA). She was
buried in Jannatul Baqi.
