Reading Log 7 Summary

Body Dysmorphia is once again being brought up for the amount of lives it has taken. This
august alone it took two lives, Dallas McCarver who was previously discussed and also Rich Piana. Both
of these men had Body Dysmorphia and where 6 feet and under and weighed above 300 pounds which
is an extreme amount of weight to put a frame that height. Rich Piana had biceps that were bigger then
almost every bodybuilder that competed in the most prestigious bodybuilding event, Mr. Olympia.
Even at his insane size he still wanted to get bigger and bigger, so he ate more and more and used more
and more drugs including steroids and supposedly used synthol which is an oil that is injected into the
body and then hardens making what looks like muscle. This combined with his drug abuse to be as big as
possible took his life in late august.
