EMBEDDED PROJECTS ABSTRACT

A HIGH-EFFICIENCY 24 GHZ RECTENNA DEVELOPMENT TOWARDS MILLIMETER-

WAVE ENERGY HARVESTING AND WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION

ABSTRACT:- This project demonstrates the implementation of rectenna, which is developed to

demonstrate the feasibility of wireless power harvesting and transmission (WPT) techniques
towards millimeter-wave regime. The proposed structure includes a compact circularly polarized
substrate integrated waveguide cavity-backed antenna array integrated with a self-biased
rectifier. The antenna and the rectifier are individually designed, optimized, fabricated and
measured, they are integrated into one circuit in order to validate the experimental result. The
experiment can be done with a EMI based rectenna to power a WPT in transmitter section and in
the receiver section it gets connected with the sensors.

EXISTING SYSTEM:-
Degrading the efficiency of the antenna is caused by undesired surface wave excitation
Surface wave losses and increase OF the antenna radiation reduces the efficiency

PROPOSED SYSTEM
A rectenna, consisting of a receiving antenna and a rectifier circuit, is the most vital module of
a WPT system.
Conversion efficiency is limited by the conduction loss in a system
Rectenna having e a high gain in order to captures more RF power.
