Aims and Objectives

4. AIM AND OBJECTIVES

AIM: To formulate and evaluate Adapalene loaded

niosomal gel for topical delivery.

OBJECTIVES:
To prepare Adapalene loaded niosomes by
Modified Ethanol Injection (MEI) method using
non ionic surfactant (Span 60).

To establish pre- formulation studies of drug,

polymer, and other excipients to establish their
suitability and compatability.

To investigate the effects of independent variables

on the dependent variable by 32 factorial design
approach.

Physicochemical characterization of optimized

formulations.

To study In-vitro release characteristics

performance on dialysis membrane of optimized
batch of niosomal dispersion.
