Halloween Information

October 31, 2017

Minimum Day
o Kindergarten 8:35am 12:26pm
o 1st-5th Grades 8:25am 12:30pm
o Kolb office will be closing at 3:00pm
Halloween Parade begins at approx. 8:45am
o Please be seated on the playground based upon the provided map (spaces are
approximations); students will need to sit in rows approx..3 deep
o All parents must stand behind the children as this event is for the students.
o Parade will be led by administration / office staff
o Parade order 5th and 4th, 3rd and 2nd, 1st and Kindergarten
o As the 5th and 4th graders walk the circuit one time the other students remain
seated as the audience (repeat w/other grades as led by admin). Following one lap,
the students are seated and the next group is picked up by admin/office staff.
At the conclusion of the parade, all teachers will escort students back to class for the
remainder of the school day.
Costume Guidelines:
o No masks
o Costumes may not contain blood
o Weapons are not permissible
o Costumes may be worn for the school day, but students may change if they prefer
and have other clothing.
o Students must wear closed toe shoes for safety.
Parents on Campus
o Many parents will be on campus for the parade please keep your students with
you in lines as you move about the campus.
o If any parent remains after the parade, they must sign in at the office and obtain a
visitors badge
o Keep your doors locked as is standard practice throughout the school day
Food Guidelines
o All treats / food must be store purchased.
o Please be cautious of ingredients due to our children with nut allergies.
Trunk or Treat Event Friday, October 27th 5:30pm 7:30pm
o If you are able to participate the PFC would be appreciative
