Your report should be typed and should include the following information:
Section I. Introduction (description of the study, variables in data set, data,
research question and hypotheses)
Section II.
1. Summary statistics
2. Frequency table (of a new count variable)
3. Graphs (box plot, stem-leaf plot, Histogram, and Q-Q plot)
Note: outputs of 1-3 should be included in this section of the report, not as
attachments
4. A paragraph describe the characteristics of the graphs
Section III. Statistical Analyses
Use following methods and Explain in each method (1-4), what
variable(s)/observation(s) do you use to analyze the data
1. T-test (use difference of the obviations)
2. Paired t-test (use SAS code for paired-difference)
3. Sign test (see SAS code for sign test)
4. Wilcoxon Signed Rank test (use univariate normal procedure)
Note: method 4 includes all the results you obtained from 1-3, also added a
Wilcoxon Signed Rank test
Note: Do not include SAS code in this part of the report
5. Among methods 1-4, what statistical method do you recommend for this study
and why. Be sure to include relevant p-values to support your justification.
