1 EXT.

WOODS - DAY 1
DYLAN, an 18 year old boy, looks blankly towards something
in front of him. His 18 year old girlfriend, MIA, calls out
to him.

MIA
(Shouting/Frustrated)
Dylan
She walks up to Dylans side

MIA
Hey, forget about her, come on
Dylan follows her out of the shot, revealing that he was
looking at a missing poster for a 17 year old girl named
KATIE.
PATH WITHIN THE WOODS
The two walk hand-in-hand inside the forest. Dylan hears a
strange noise within the shrubbery and goes to inspect.

*Breaking of twigs and strange animals noises*

DYLAN
did you hear that?

MIA
No, what was it?
Dylan moves his head in closer to look, when a ghostly voice
whispers in his ear

KATIE
(Whisper)
Did you even love me?
Dylans eyes widen in shock, and Mias hand goes out to grab
his arm which makes him jump.
MIA
Whats up with you today?
DYLAN
Nothing, lets just go back home
The two walk along the path, which is close to a massive pit
in the distance
FADE TO BLACK
 2.

2 EXT. WOODS - DAY 2

A similar shot with the pit in the distance, but this time
the whole atmosphere has changed. The setting looks and
feels more bleak and dark; like a nightmare. Shots of a hand
grasping for life are cut between tracking shots of the
camera moving ever closer towards the pit. The hand goes
limp indicating that the person has died, and just as we
look over the edge of the pit the camera cuts
CUT

3 INT. HOUSE - EVENING 3

Dylan opens his eyes, he realises that he has been dreaming.
He gets out of his chair and walks to his bedroom. As he
enters he turns on the lights and is shocked when he see a
message written on his mirror in red ink "I LOVED YOU". The
same voice as before whispers into his ear
KATIE
(Whispers)
Im still here

He turns his head to face the voice, but no one is there.

His face is complete distress when he turns his head round
to see that the words have disappeared
DYLAN SITTING IN HIS BED - LATE EVENING

Dylan calls Mia on her mobile, she answers

MIA
(Annoyed)
Dylan... Dylan... DYLAN

Dylans words are stuck in his throat and he is unable to

answer
MIA
Its about her... isnt it? *sighs*

Mia ends the call with Dylan, Dylan sits back in his bed and
his eyes shut as he falls asleep
FADE
 3.

4 EXT. WOODS - DAY 4

Once again Dylan begins to dream of the forest. Assortments
of shots tell the story of how Dylan took his previous
girlfriend, Katie, on a date in those woods, only to kill
her by pushing her down a pit. Mia is revealed to be the
manipulator behind Dylan, telling him to get rid of Katie
for her.
MIA
(Speaking on the phone)
If you love me, you know what to do
Katie was unaware of Dylans intentions until it was far too
late she tries to call out for help, but to no avail.
KATIE
(Screaming)
Stop it. No. Help Me.
The final shot is from Katies perspective as she is falling
down the pit, watching the ground rush towards her before
she eventually reaches the bottom and dies.

CUT TO BLACK
5 EXT. WOODS - MORNING 5
Mia and Dylan walk together in the woods a second time. Mia
stops briefly to answer a phone call. Simultaneously, Dylan,
looking anxious and on-edge looks behind him to see Katie
watching him. She appears pale and is dressed in all black.
She points directly towards Mia implying she wants her dead.
Dylan looks in compliance and continues their walk deeper
into the forest.

THE PIT - MORNING

As the two walk, Dylan points towards the pit emphasising
they walk in that direction.

DYLAN
why dont we go this way for a
change?
Mia agrees. While they walk Katie becomes present in more
and more shots, stalking them as they make their journey.
Eventually the two make it to the edge of the precipice,
Katie still watching Dylan from a distance. Mia realises
where she has been taken and demands an explanation from her
boyfriend.

MIA
(Angry)
Dylan this needs to stop. Its
pathetic.

Dylan looks incredibly torn and distressed, however, Katie

pulls up beside him to help him make his decision. Her
voice, although quieter, is heard more clearly than Mia.
KATIE
If you loved me, youd know what to
do.
Dylans hand grabs the back of Mias coat followed by a cut
to black and her scream.
MIA
*SCREAMING*
Dylan sighs in relief now that his problems with both women
are gone. He then embarks out of the forest, only for to it
be revealed that Mia now stands wheres Katie once did. Mia
is now in all black and appears paler and its implied
through this that she has taken the place of the vengeful
spirit and this final reveal signals the end of the film.
