AFL 9's Carnival

 Aim

The aim of our carnival is to celebrate AFL as being

inclusive for all. We seek to provide equal opportunities
for everybody involved in the day. Throughout the day,
we want everybody to receive equal chances in the
games to touch the ball, handball, kick and score goals
for their team. We hope to see each player playing
equal minutes in the game and have opportunities
as a forward, midfielder and defender as well as a sub.
Each team is included equally in the carnival, all playing
equal games, equal minutes and equal oval lengths
regardless of who they are. We have further
encouraged each team to bring helpers to coach and be
involved and included in the carnival in a variety of ways.

Remain on the oval side of the flags

Areas with trees are out of bounds

The main oval goal posts are something that you

should never go past

During breaks, remain with your teachers/coaches

in your school marquees unless you receive
permission to do otherwise

Always go to the toilet in pairs

The pavillion is not to be entered at any time
