Contents & Folding Instructions:

Pg. 5 Interactive Notebook Table of Contents Make
this your students first page in their notebooks to keep track
of all the concepts covered. You can add Rules and
Procedures or All About Our Class as the first items of the
year. It is sized to fit a standard composition book.
Note: In the following templates, cut on solid lines (shown in
blue), and fold on dotted lines (shown in red).

Pg. 6-7 Class Rules Layered Book

This layered book allows students to write 7 class rules. If
you have fewer, simply cut off the ones you dont need
before copying. There is also a title for the notebook
pages; simply have students fill in the subject in the blank.

Fold tabs on top. Glue the bottom sheet to the paper. Glue
remaining sheets one on top of the other by the tab only.

Pg. 7 Norms Flower & Ticket to Success

Have students write class norms, or standards of
behavior, on each flower petal. You may choose to have
students work in groups to brainstorm norms before
having them write them. On the Ticket to Success
accordion, have students brainstorm a list of thing they
can do to be successful in class (e.g., complete homework,
turn in work on time, etc.)

Fold in flower petals. Students can color the backs of the petals if
they wish. Glue down only the center so the petals stick up.
Fold on the dotted lines so that it creates a tent.
Glue down the back of the flap with the text only.

Pg. 8 My Goals Envelope

Students will write their goals for the year on the mini-
post-it template, then fold the envelope and place them
inside the envelope.

Fold on the dotted lines. Glue side flaps and fold bottom flap up onto
them. Glue back to notebook and place post-its inside the envelope.

Pg. 9 Procedures Tabs

Under each tab, have students write the appropriate procedure. If
the pre-labeled tabs do not work for your classroom, use the
blank one and instruct students on what to write on each tab.
Just remember to chop the paper in half before copying.

Fold down the side tab,

then cut on the dotted
lines to make flaps.
Glue down only the side
tab
