Did you know an overall healthy diet and certain foods can help to prevent esophageal
cancer?
Over many years people have been seeking for the perfect diet. A diet that will help them
lose weight without cutting out their favorite foods. Good diets can help you achieve much
more than just losing weight. A diet that keeps you strong and healthy. A good diet that can
actually help stop serious illnesses. Illnesses like esophageal cancer.
Science has learned that there are lots of different foods that have cancer-fighting qualities. It
is all about taking it one step at a time. Knowing which foods you should incorporate into
your current diet is the key factor.
Make sure that you add a lot of cancer-fighting food into your daily diet.
Colorful fruits and vegetables. Yellow and green vegetables, plus, fruits are the ones that
offer the most cancer-fighting potential. Some of these vegetables are cabbage, chard, bok
choy, broccoli, kale, Brussels sprout, and cauliflower. Try to ensure that you eat at least 5
servings of these vegetables on a daily basis. Make sure that you give your body the best
protection you can give it, especially to ward off illness.
Tea. Antioxidants which are found in tea have been said to fend off cancer. This means
that having a cup of tea a day can be very good for your bodys health. Green tea is known to
have the most antioxidants, but black teas will also aid in defending your body from ailments.
A Chinese study showed that men in China who did not drink tea had twice as much chance
of gaining esophageal cancer compared to men who drank tea daily.
Black raspberries. Research done at Ohio State University found that black raspberries are
rich in an antioxidant called blackcaps. These can help fight adjacent to other treatments for
esophageal cancer. The antioxidant that is found in the black raspberries is called ellagic acid
and it is a great antioxidant. It protects your body from inflammation. Studies show that
inflammation is 1 of the leading symptoms of esophageal cancer. A lot of other berries also
contain high antioxidant levels.
Whole grains. Make your plate full of oatmeal, wheat pasta, whole grain bread, brown
rice, and different whole-grain choices. Ensure you chose those rich in antioxidants and
nutrients that will help protect your body.
