Dear Mr. Placer:

I am writing this letter to apply for the Zachary P. Vigliotta scholarship. I believe that I am
the best alternative choice for this scholarship because I have met all the standards to receive
this scholarship. I have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.8, which far exceeds the standards.
The scholarship entails an essay that covers your educational, career goals and financial need;
school participation; and academic record considered; official transcript. I have completed each
of these requirements exceedingly. This scholarship means very much to the Vigliotta family
and I believe that If I do receive this scholarship, then I will represent the Vigliotta family lots. If I
was granted this scholarship I would greatly appreciate it.
