LEVEL 01 - SCENE 01 - INTRO

FADE IN:

EXT., AMONG HIGH BUILDINGS, RAINING - LATE AFTERNOON

Mark lies in the gutter, drunk and is looking up to the
sky. While rain drops hit his face. In one hand, he's
holding a bottle of vodka, in the other an empty packet of
cigarettes, he is lost and doesn't know what to do with his
life. The scene lacks color, the ground is filled with
ponds of water, some connected through a stream of water
with the other. He is alone.
MARK
Why are you crying, o sky, is your
heart broken like mine? Or maybe
you're just frustrated with the
people here? Or maybe you just hate
me? Are you disgusted by me?

He waits for an answer, flinches his eyes and gets angry.

MARK
What? Not even gonna answer? You
think you're better than me? Huh?
Still no answer. Mark throws the empty bottle of vodka
towards the sky and starts screaming.
MARK
(screaming)
ANSWER ME! ANSWER ME! ANSWEER ME!
But no answer. The rain keeps dropping, silently. Mark
turns slowly to his side and catches a glimpse of his
reflection in the pond of water next to hime
MARK
Look at you.
(pauses for a second, and
repeats himself with a
hateful tone in his now
trembling voice)
Look.At.You.
And then, he passes out. You can hear the rain drops
falling on the ground, on the metal of the waste bins and
containers around, on the railings and rooftops, as the
