The title of the Summer Internship Project was Employer Branding and Diversity & Inclusion.

The objective was to gather information about the various initiatives towards employer branding,
promoting diversity and creating an inclusive workplace by the major telecom operators and
doing an overall analysis thereafter. This was done by visiting the offices of Airtel, Vodafone, Idea,
and TATA Teleservices and interacting with the respective HR persons. This gave insights into the
practices at these organizations. Apart from this, official websites of these telecom companies
were studied to understand more about their initiatives in the concerned areas. All this
information was collated and presented in a systematic flow and trends were observed then.
Employer Branding has now become a crucial area for employers everywhere, since it helps them
to gain competitive edge over peers and attract topmost talent. This is why the image of the
organization portrayed to the outside world becomes critical to the success of business. Building
a Diverse and Inclusive workplace is also a part of employer branding because it shows how
sensitive the organization is, to the needs of others. Therefore, the two areas are closely
integrated and it was helpful to work upon them in conjunction with each other.
