your classmates introducing your person to class.

Guidelines!

Write a report about your Person.

Make the purpose for this report clear; tell why you were important to the American Revolution!

Write in paragraphs using 8th grade vocabulary and complex sentences.

First paragraph should be an introduction to your paper.

One paragraph about the early life, family and childhood.

One paragraph including fun or interesting information you found about the person as you researched.
What makes this person special or interesting?

One paragraph should include how you contributed to the American Revolution (Before or During the
war). (I dont want to hear about George Washingtons Presidency!)

Conclusion. How should your person be remembered? As a hero? As an enemy?

Spelling checked and proofread by another.

Neatness counts (not rushed or put together last minute.)

On a separate paper turn in a simple bibliography (Works cited). All I need is name and author or the website
used.

Visual Aide
You will create a mini person to hold your report and to represent your person. The body of the person is
where you will attach your report. Think how to represent your person! You will use this in your presentation!

Presentation (2-4 minutes)

Present your visual aide to the class. You may use note cards if needed. During the presentation explain how your
person contributed to the American Revolution and why they are important. (DO NOT READ ME YOUR REPORT!
