Presidential Speech

Good afternoon my fellow FLAers. My name is Esteban Reyes and I am running for

President of FLAMA. First and foremost, I would first like to thank those that nominated and

confirmed my nomination, also everyone who is here today to participate in the election. I would

love to be the next FLAMA President because not only am I currently analyzing issues that could

be advocated for next year, but am also looking forward to keep developing our Education

Equity campaign regardless of a council position. Cooperating with other advocacy non-profit

groups to address a greater audience is something I look forward to achieving during my term as

President. Also, I will work with my council, Eder, and Gaby to undertake a search for and

receive more funding for an exclusive trip to the East Coast in which we would visit Ivy League

colleges. Lastly, I will create a wonderful experience in FLA by striving to grow as a leader

serving FLA, hopefully you can all help me achieve this by electing me as you next President. I

hope to see you all this summer at the camp and hopefully next year at our meetings. Thank you
