CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Hyperdense area of blood density is seen in left basal ganglionic and


fronto-temporal region .The area of bleed measures 50 x 28mm in size.

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and left lateral ventricles are compressed.

Midline shift to right is seen.

OPINION:

LEFT BASAL GANGLIONIC AND FRONTO-TEMPORAL HAEMORRHAGIC LESION WITH


MASS EFFECT AND MIDLINE SHIFT.

ADVISED FOLLOW UP CT.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
