CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Comminuted fracture is seen in right frontal region with depressed


internally displaced bony fragment. Adjacent small blood collection is
seen in right frontal region .Soft tissue swelling is seen around
right orbit and in frontal region with radio opaque foreign bodies.

Third and both lateral ventricles are normal in size.

Basal cisterns are clear.

No midline shift is seen.

IMPRESSION

FRACTURE AS DESCRIBED WITH ADJACENT THIN EXTRADURAL BLEED WITH SOFT


TISSUE SWELLING AND FOREIGN BODIES.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
