Kanti Devi, a 55-year-old female, underwent a CT scan of the head which showed a tiny hypodense area in the right basal ganglionic region indicating a small infarct, but no evidence of bleeding or other abnormalities. The cerebellum, brainstem, and ventricles appeared normal. There were also no signs of fracture or intracranial pathology. The report concluded a tiny right basal ganglionic infarct and age-related cortical sulcal prominence.
