An 80-year-old female patient underwent a CT scan of the head which found small hypodense areas in the right basal ganglionic region indicating old infarcts. The scan also revealed dilated ventricles and paraventricular white matter hypodensities, suggesting diffuse cerebral atrophy and white matter ischemic changes. No new bleeding or midline shift was observed.
