Behaviour management was great today. Recommendations: ‘With your differentiation have the word cards ready and you can even do some of the cards before the lesson starts. - This will give your weaker students a head start and confidence to get going. How will you mark the writing piece? Can you do some of the marking over the shoulder during the lesson? This will lighten the marking load post lesson. ‘What techniques could you use to speed up the writing output? This group of children are very slow to get ‘work comploted- would a timer on the board work, or reference to the clock- " | want your writing piace fin- ished by the time the big hand gats to the half past, that gives you 20 minutes writing time”. Overall impression: Congratulations on completing the whole before school session, as well as fitness and then transition into the first lesson, ‘When | came in, the kids were calm, focussed and you were well in control | look forward to hearing your reflection about the writing pieces.
