Reflections on Observation Task 5: Literacy Software / Web-based Programs

1. Were there any literacy software/web based programs used in the

classroom? If there were, select (a); if there were not, select (b).

a) What did early childhood literacy skills the software/web-based

programs address?

- In ALGarayen kindergarten, the teacher cant use technology in circle time

to show them a video, picture or even a slideshow, because they dont
have a smart board, but she uses a small speaker to play the songs for the
children, and they also have a tablet in reading centre which have one
educational programme in Arabic, the programme called Horoof, the
children use the programme to learn how to write and gain extra
knowledge about the letter that they have learned in Arabic.

Provide at least two (2) literacy/web-based programs that the teacher can use to
help assist her students in developing their early literacy skills.
