Hayat Baksh Begum

Hayat Bakshi Begum was probably the most influential lady of


medieval Deccan.
She lorded over the affairs of the Golconda kingdom first as
daughter, then consort and finally as Queen Mother during the
reign of three kings of the Qutub Shahi dynasty
Immensely popular among the denizens of Golconda due to her
compassion, piety and largesse, Hayat Baksh was reverently
addressed to as Ma Sahiba

chamber surrounded by
spacious gallery.
The upper storey has live
arches and octagonal buttress
at corners.

bakshi Begum Masjid and also
Hayathnagar Grand Mosque.
It is located in Hayathnagar in
Hyderabad.
