Customer may report:
EPC light ON and slightly reduced engine torque because vehicle is in E-Gas Safety Mode.
Only in combination with:
MIL ON and the following DTC stored in ECM fault memory:

DTC Description

P0016 Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position - Correlation

Bank 1 Sensor A

Customer may also report:

Excessive clacking or rattling noise from engine area more audible at idle.

Technical Background
Condition may be caused by the correlation between crankshaft and camshafts out of tolerance.
