1. Kahoot!
https://kahoot.com
In Kahoot! teachers can create quizzes, surveys, or discussions. Students must go to
https://kahoot.it on a computer, tablet, or phone and enter a game pin in order to
participate in the Kahoot!. All students are presented with the questions at the same
time and results are shown immediately.
This tool allows teachers to create paperless quizzes, surveys, or discussions. This can
save the teacher time making copies, reading handwriting, and even grading. Teachers
also use this tool to get quick feedback.
Students use this tool to participate in quizzes, surveys, or discussions.
A big advantage of this is that students really enjoy participating in online activities
where they can get immediate feedback on their answers. In the quiz mode of Kahoot! it
tells students every question if they were right or wrong and gives points based on how
fast they answered and if they answered correctly. This game is also competitive which
motivates students to know the information so they can do their best. As I said before, it
also allows for quick grading and good quick feedback. The teacher is able to
immediately see how many people got each question right or wrong and what wrong
answers students chose. This can allow for teachers to quickly reteach any information
that the majority of the class is confused about. It is really an engaging resource that
benefits student learning and teacher effectiveness.

2. Google+
https://plus.google.com/discover
In a Google Plus community users can answer questions, ask questions, submit work,
and participate in discussions.
This allows teachers to have a way to communicate with their students. It also is a place
where teachers can create pages for students to submit work into. It keeps all
information in one place.
Students can use this tool to ask the teacher questions, communicate with their
classmates, and submit their work.
The biggest advantage of this tool is that it keeps all information in one place. Students
can go back and look at their work and teachers can easily go back and see work that
students have submitted. This tool is also a good way for teachers to communicate
things to students or even parents.

3. Powtoon
https://www.powtoon.com
In Powtoon students can create really unique presentations. This is a presentation
service that is free and does not have to be downloaded.
Teachers can use this service to check students presentations or even make their own
presentations to present in their classrooms.
Students can use this resource to create interesting and capturing presentations.
Some benefits of this is that everything is online and students do not have to worry
about putting it on a flash drive or downloading an app. It also makes it easy for
teachers to project students presentations for the whole class.

4. OneNote
https://www.onenote.com
In one note students can take all their notes in one location. They can make lists,
highlight things, add images, star things, add phone numbers, etc.
This tool can be used by the teacher to check if students are taking notes. They can log
on as the teacher and check to see if everyone has uploaded notes. The teacher could
also use this to create their own notes and lists for their own benefit or to share with
the class.
Students can use this tool to keep all their notes for class, schedules, and to do lists in
one place.
A big advantage of this is that all notes for all subjects can be kept in one place without
using so much paper. Students are able to go back and look at their notes easily.

5. Nearpod
https://nearpod.com
In Nearpod teachers can create lessons that contain many different resources such as
photos, videos, questions, etc. for students. They can choose to let students go through
these lessons at their own pace or they can control the pace of the lesson.
This can be used by the teacher to easily present a lesson to a class using technology.
They can put everything they were planning to teach in Nearpod and click through the
lesson in class with ease.
The student uses this resource to learn a lesson. They can be given videos to watch and
questions to answer in order to enhance their learning.
Some benefits of this is that the teacher can control the pace of the lesson based on
what they think their students can handle. Another benefit of this is that everything is in
one place. Another benefit is that students enjoy using technology to learn.
