Release

The parties to this Release are (Name of student, Roll Number of student), a Student of the Post Graduate
Programme Batch 2016-18 and Dean (Programmes), ). The Student has chosen to participate in the elective
course called, Business Planning for International Markets which requires foreign travel to (country) as part
of the Post Graduate Programme curriculum.

Assumption of Risk: The Student understands and agrees that foreign travel presents risks to the Student and
his/her property. These can include, among others, unfamiliar or different terrain, climate, food and drink,
customs, laws, social and sexual mores, safety practices and regulations, communications, criminal and law
enforcement activities, disability access, driving practices, disease risks, and health care. The Student is
responsible for research toward understanding these differences, for evaluating the risks he/she may face and
is responsible for his/her actions. Any activities that the Student may take part in, whether as a component of
the above Programme or separate from it, will be considered to have been undertaken with the Students
approval and understanding of any and all risks involved. This includes risks associated with the consumption
of alcoholic beverages and/or drugs, including but not limited to of loss, injury, or death arising out of traffic
accidents, assault, and theft.

Adherence to Standards: The student understands and agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations of
.and all rules, regulations, and laws of (country). The Student further agrees to obey all rules, directions, and
precautions issued by .or its representatives, by any associated individuals, institutions, or organizations, or by
the Indian Government. The Student specifically understands that, with respect to the consumption of alcohol
or drugs while overseas, he/she is personally responsible and holds harmless, the Board of Governors of, their
officers, agents, students and employees from any action, claim, or demand that his/her heirs, or legal
representatives, have or may have for any and all personal injuries he/she may suffer or sustain regardless of
cause or fault as a result of his/her voluntary decision to participate in the course or related activities, on or
off campus.

Termination of Participation: The Student shall not engage in inappropriate conduct including the use of
physical or verbal violence, open abuse of the customs or mores of the community, and unauthorized absence
from classes or other activities. The Student understands that, in the sole discretion .or its representatives
may terminate the Students participation in the course at any time, including before departure or during the
foreign travel. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to: inappropriate conduct or other
behaviour by the Student deemed detrimental to the best interests of, emergencies, or health or safety
considerations. Such termination shall not diminish or otherwise alter the Students obligation to make any
payment required for the course, nor shall .be required to make any refund to the Student.

Release of Claims: In consideration of the .accepting the Student into the course and connected foreign travel,
the Student, his/her heirs, executors, administrators. employers, agents, representatives, insurers, and
attorneys, hereby release and discharge, the Board of Governors of, its officers, trustees, faculty, employees,
agents, and representatives (hereafter Released parties) from any and all claims. The Student recognizes
and agrees that the Released parties assume no responsibility for any liability, damage, or the injury that may
be caused by the Students negligence or wilful acts committed prior to, during, or after participation in the
foreign travel, or for any liability, damage or injury caused by the intentional or negligent acts or omissions of
any other Student in the foreign travel, or caused by any other person.
