you could develop skills in 75 days you could clear JEE. Divide your time and
work in different slots.
So rules are;
1. Increase amount of your study time :Study as much as you can, including marking
every single important point, question, facts and most important your mistake
during problem solving.
2. You must revise 1 hour daily
3. Not going to waste your time on any unproductive things.
4. Be effective plan and have faith.
5. know your weak topic and source of distraction.
Mathematics
Left easy question unsolved to save your time for good question as quality of
question is imitating over quantity of question.
Keep practising and reading good questions of topic which you fill hard to
memorise or understand.Revision is crucial. If not believe then try to solve
subjective problems of topic which is not well revised.
Solve it during morning but give quick glance to important question just before
going to bed by full concentration.
Keep asking doubts and discussion with friends
Avoid solving unsloved question because they could waste your time.
Follow good material,Any the following which you got
a. Coaching material from good institute
b. Objective approach to mathematics by arihant or books of arihant
c. Cengage New pattern mathematics or Cengage mathematics for JEE advanced
d. FIITJEE classroom package
e. ML Khanna yes its good book for mains
f. 38 years solved paper and JEE mains solved paper
g. Mathematics for JEE Advanced and mains by Mcgraw Hill
First complete topics which are more scoring in mains
Chemistry
Read NCERT and NCERT exemplar problem with their solution it is highly
recommended for mains Must to read and learn as facts base questions may come
from it.
Stick to the syllabus
Solve variety of question specially in Organic chemistry
Learn with free mind and revise whatever you learn just one hour of studying then
after one day, week and during your free time
Avoid solving easy question
Read difficult topics from multiple source;helps to learn concepts and even
memorise.
Make your own shortcuts:1-I could write electronic configuration from 1s to 7p in
20 seconds,2-To remember Bohr cycle remember this SIDEU In which
S=sublimation,I=ionisation,D=desperate,E&U has general meanings as chemistry
test.
Dont read easy topics again and again during revision as you have lot of syllabus
to cover.
Follow good books or material like;
a. Organic chemistry by Solomon edited by MS chouhan
b. Concise Inorganic chemsitry by JD Lee edited by Sudarshan
c. Physical Chemistry by KS verma Cengage
d. Previous year questions
e. Problems is highly important go for Coaching material or Problems book by
Cengage in Organic And Inorganic and for physical you should go for
RCM(reading examples thoroughly would be enough as it contain similar type of
problems but MCQ of it and Revision exercise is must for solving ) and N awasthi
for current pattern questions.
Learn not to give excuse for not remembering any topics or chapter(as per your
priority)
Read these chapter from NCERT ONLY :
o Bio-molecules
o Polymers
o Chemistry in everyday life
Physics
Tips for Boards in PCM NCERT with previous year questions will be sufficient.
Mathematics
Physics general advise remain same if you want to increase your level even more you can go
for Irodov,Krotov,FIITJEE GMP,FIITJEE RSM,Resonance rank booster.
Focus on your health You cant take risk to fell ill on 2 April or 21 May
If you start practising smart then No one could stop your selection in JEE
Read some books to keep motivating yourself and utilise your time positively.i.e.,Personal
developments,Biographies and etc.
Create a morning habit to give your energy for the day ahead.
You can be on top of your game by following a morning routine so that you accomplish more
early, which in turn can motivate you to be even more productive throughout the rest of the
day. A routine gives you structure and breaks down your morning hours into smaller chunks
of work that are easier to do.
Deep work is what your analytical brain does that requires a lot of concentration to perform
the most complex tasks (in the case of studying, these can be reading, comprehension,
application, repetition). Some scientists call this time of day the brains peak performance
time, and it's roughly 2-4 hours after we wake up. So, for example, if you wake up at 6, your
peak times are between 8 and 10 a.m. Be sure to block this time off to cover your most
important work, and leave other activities such as checking your Facebook and Instagram
updates, your emails, and the news for later in the day.
When you're ready to start studying, use a timer to divide up your day into manageable
increments that will allow your brain to focus in a more targeted and effective way. You can
set the timer to 30 or 60 minute blocks, for example. You can also try the Pomodoro
technique which consists of 25 minute blocks of time, followed by 5 minute breaks. When
you're done with one segment, step away from your desk, and do something completely
unrelated to work to give your brain a chance to rest: take a 5 minute walk, stretch your
body, and grab a cup of coffee or tea.
To boost your concentration and cognitive abilities, take a nap for about 30 minutes in the
afternoon; find a comfortable space (a couch, an armchair, your bed).
Take a walk.
Performing some form of physical exercise, even if it is targeted and short, improves your
brain's cognitive performance, problem solving ability, and even boosts long-term memory.
Aim for 30-45 minutes.
Strategizing how to optimize your learning (find new learning tools or apps)
So much information to absorb, so many details to remember, and all those tough deadlines
to adhere to. Studying is hard! You can help your brain by training it with meditation. This
practice can help you deal well with the input of information that could lead to feelings of
chaos, overwhelm, and stress. Start with just 10 minutes.
This habit will help you ease away from your studies and signal to your body that it's time to
slow down and prepare for rest. You can (a) set a bedtime alarm to go off 30 minutes before
going to sleep, (b) stay away from electronics (mainly your computer), (c) stretch your legs
with a short walk after dinner for about 20-30 minutes to boost digestion and give your
brain some extra oxygen, and (d) do something relaxing before bedtime: read a book, listen
to music, or just close your eyes and breathe deeply for 10 counts before you brush your
teeth and get ready for bed.
Make A Schedule - Plan out your week in advance. Set specific times per day when you
will sit down and study.
This may seem a bit random but spraying an unfamiliar scent while youre studying can help
jog your memory when you spray it again just before an exam. Chewing a strange kind of
gum will work the same way.
Look at what needs to get done (each task should have an estimated time assigned to its
well as a degree of difficulty.)
Revise all the formulae/concepts almost once a week: Think of mind as a flexible
sized memory. It can take in a fixed number of data sets at a given time and will start losing
the older data. You can increase the size of this flexible stack by reviewing and revising the
important concepts and formulae. I call it "refurbishing the lost stack".
Try difficult questions before sleeping: Sub-conscious is a strong tool and somehow it
knows a lot more than focused mind. Giving the sub-conscious to try something while
sleeping comes very handy in learning and solving hard questions. This might sound absurd
but is one of the best techniques and has been used by a lot inventors in the history to solve
and innovate when stuck in impossible seeming problems.
After revising theory, start any illustrations with difficult questions which
covers a lot of domains of the chapter: Again, it sounds a bit contradictory to our
conventional method of starting slow and easy and then pick up the pace as one feels
comfortable. But if you have been following step 1 religiously, your reference stack
(formulae and concepts) will be fresh and easily accessible and you can parallel think of
multiple concepts while trying hard problem. Try it for a long time at least 30 mins without
looking at the solution even if you are not able to solve it. There are high chances that you
won't be able to solve it. Look at the solution and devote a good time understanding and
analysing the concepts and formulae involved. Switch back to your conventional
methodology and you will find the other questions quite easy now.
Remember 2080 rule. In general, the academic books are cumbersome. They consist of
too many unnecessary words that try to communicate some simple ideas. 20% of the book
contains 80% of information it is about to convey. If you are press for time, never spend too
much of it reading each and every line of a book. All the books and chapters are structured
in such a way that some particular parts are about to reveal the essential details of the issue
discussed, while the remainder is there just in order to elaborate on some trivial things.
Therefore, learn to use the books properly.
Don't believe blindly in text books. If you're doubtful about something, it's always safe to
look it up from alternative sources.
Most of the maths problems have more than one solving methods. While re-checking such
problems, always check using alternative methods, not using the same method
you used. Check whether both the answers are same. This way, you can detect careless
mistakes.
Collect previous year's question papers. You can get an idea of how the question will
be. Also, there is a high probability of questions being repeated, sometimes the person who
sets the question paper may be too lazy to browse the books for questions. : P
Varying our environment such as smells, lightings, background noises, temperature, etc
impacts on your learning. Setting up a soothing and comfortable atmosphere for your work-
space helps you focus more on your goal than worrying about the surrounded distractions.
Digital Detox
Get over your obsession for online activities such as Facebook, emails, games and your
smart phone. These dont take much to have you focus your attention on the first thing that
strikes your fancy and even seems more interesting than the next chapter.
Categorise Yourself
Know your true self, chart your strengths and weaknesses for an adequate plan for studying.
It is more important to figure out which study strategies works best for you than to worry
about where you lag in the learning spectrum. Find out the comfortable studying material
(like notes, books or online webinars) to understand the concepts that is simple and straight
forward. You learn faster and better from the source youre already familiar with.
Spaced repetition - never revise or practice the same thing over and over on successive days,
instead, increase the time between each time you do it, to a couple of days at least.
If you don't understand something or are struggling, get help right away. Don't
give up until that teacher has helped you figure it out. The only stupid question is the one
that isn't asked. In short get your doubts cleared.
Try to understand things, Always Push your limits soon youll get newer limit,
Use earplugs when I read that many people use cooler or fans to avoid noise, I was just
shocked!!
