What is Task Based Learning

It is also known as:


Task based language learning (TBLL)
Task based instruction (TBI) and
Task based language teaching (TBLT)
The Task-Based Learning (TBL) helps students to have a meaningful experience with the
language, develops target language fluency and student confidence. The result is
motivation.
Such tasks can include visiting a doctor, collecting a check, going to the doctor, among
others.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TBL

It`s based on the use of tasks.


It`s focused on the use of authentic language.
Errors are part of a natural learning.
It is a communicative approach
The aim of TBL is to integrate all four skills and to move from fluency
to accuracy plus fluency.

Role of the students

The entire class focused on them.


They can use the language any way they want; as long its
understandable .
They need to solve any problem or situation that the teacher gives them.

Role of the Teacher

Create opportunity to involved every single student.
