On Server computer:

0. TURN OFF INTERNET ACCESS!!!

1. Launch SolidWorks Installation Manager, and choose Server Products radio-button

2. Select Install SOLIDWORKS PDM Server check-box.

DE-SELECT Install SolidNetWork Licensing service check-box
Press Next

3. Press Cancel on the warning screen about installation manager unable to connect
to Internet.
If you did not turn off Internet access, press Next on warning screen about
inability of validate serial numbers

4. Click CHANGE on SolidWorks PDM Server tab (additional information required).

Select Product type radio button and fill SQL server information (select SQL
Server instance, user and password of "sa" user).
Select features checkboxes.
Press Back to Summary. If SQL server is reachable and SQL login credentials are
correct, no message should appear.

5. Check the box I accept the terms of SOLIDWORKS and Press Install

6. Wait until installation completes

7. Stop all Conisio services and close Database Adminsitration GUI application from
system tray (ConisioDbServer, ConisioWebServer, ArchiveServerService)

8. Overwrite folders from _SolidSQUAD_\NewInstall\Win32 or Win64 to root of C:

drive where you installed Enterprise PDM (typically C: if path to installed EPDM is
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Enterprise PDM\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\SolidWorks
Enterprise PDM\ )
On 64-bit, copy BOTH folders "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" to C:
root (or to disk root where you installed EPDM if custom folder)

9. Copy all files from _SolidSQUAD_\LicenseServer to <PDM install

folder>\LicenseServer and install license server with installlicenseserver.bat
right-click as administrator

10. Reboot or restart Conisio services stopped manually

11. Open EPDM Administration, create a new vault, open License tab and add server
"27111@localhost" to server list

12. Continue installing clients

On client computer:

0. TURN OFF INTERNET ACCESS!!!

1. Launch SolidWorks Installation Manager, and choose Client products.

2. Follow instructions until component selection. Select SOLIDWORKS PDM CLIENT.

3. Press Install and wait for installation completion

4. Close all Conisio applications from system tray

5. Overwrite folders from _SolidSQUAD_\NewInstall\Win32 or Win64 to root of C:

drive where you installed Enterprise PDM (typically C: if path to installed EPDM is
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Enterprise PDM\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\SolidWorks
Enterprise PDM\ )

6. Reboot

7. Try connecting to PDM server
