Description:
A vigorous, warm season grass which spreads by creeping stolons as well as rhizomes. It is a very prominent grass
throughout the southwest. Common bermuda exhibits medium texture and has a more open turf than improved varieties. The
Hulled form has gone through an extra cleaning process that removes the sheath or hull from the seed. This increases the
germination and establishment time over unhulled. The hulled form should be planted April through October.

Uses:
Ideal for high traffic areas. Tolerates wide range of soil conditions. Avoid planting in shade areas, full sun is ideal. As with
all warm season grasses it goes dormant in the winter months.
Seeding Rate:
New Turf: 2-3 pounds per 1000 square feet (90-125 pounds per acre).
Overseeding: 1-2 pounds per 1000 square feet (45-90 pounds per acre).
Fall overseed with Grand Slam perennial rye grass at a rate of 8 10 lb. per 1000 square feet.
Establishment:
Germination: 10 14 Days with Proper Irrigation (longer in cooler weather)
Establishment: 6 8 Weeks Best seeded April - October
First Limited Use: two week after first mowing depending upon rate of establishment.
