CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

5.1 Conclusion

This research was conducted to find out if there would be a significant

correlation between students reading for pleasure habit and their ability in writing

descriptive text at the eight grade of state junior high school 1 Siak Hulu or not.

Based on the analysis of the data in the previous chapter, the researcher can

conclude this research as follows:

5.1.1 The percentage of students reading for pleasure habit at the eight

grade of state junior high school 1 Siak Hulu is defined as high

level.

5.1.2 The mean score of students writing ability on descriptive text at the

eight grade of state junior high school 1 Siak Hulu is categorized as

enough level at score 73.51.

5.1.3 There is a significant correlation between the students reading for

pleasure habit and their writing ability on descriptive text at the eight

grade of state junior high school 1 Siak Hulu.

5.2 Suggestion

Based on the conclusion above the writer proposes some suggestions as

follows:

5.2.1 the english teacher is suggested to concern more on students reading

habit, not only the reading on that they do as instrumental purpose,

but also the reading that they do for pleasure.

5.2.2 For the students, they are suggested to..................mollaaaaaaa

5.2.3 At last, these findings are also expected to be a reference for further

researches that concern on students ability on writing descriptive text

and their reading for pleasure habit.
