chamber - a room used for a special or official purpose, or a group of people who form (part of) a
parliament

charge into - to rush quickly and perhaps haphazardly into a room, building, or other space

risky - involving the possibility of something bad happening

bicker - to argue about things that are not important

stomp - to walk with intentionally heavy steps, especially as a way of showing that you are annoyed

hand off to somebody - to give something to someone else to do or complete

contemplation - serious and quiet thought for a period of time

play hookie - a day spent away from school and other responsibilities

bearer - a person whose job is to carry something, or a person who brings a message

muster - to produce or encourage something such as an emotion or support

stay put - remain somewhere without moving or being moved
