Reflection: Philosophy & Insight

Questions within questions. The more you seek for an answer, the more you dive
deeper into a sea of questions. Like a Russian doll, a question might contain another,
further confusing yourself or helping yourself. But one thing is for sure, youll never arrive
at a definite answer. In searching for an answer, it all comes down to how you live your
life, how you think, and how persistent you are.

How does your daily habit affect your thinking? For a person like me, I love taking
long walks rather than riding a jeepney or a tricycle because I get to contemplate and ask
myself questions that were buried deep inside my mind. Questions like, Should I give
myself the credit for my achievements or God? or something like: Is there really a soul?.
These things cannot have any definite answer. These things cant be explained simply by
logic. I sometimes even have a debate in my mind most especially when it comes to my
belief. Even if I have come up with a side, I further ask myself Why?. Was I bias? I
always doubt my thinking. But my decision depends on my situation. It always depends
on what is on my mind. When I achieve something that seemed to have had never had a
chance to work, I tend to stick on my religious side. Something like miracles cannot be
explained but my mind believes that something is at works up above. Or was it my
determination? I dont know.

When we have questions on our minds, we really have to think it through. We

should never stick with one answer. It is good if you get to question your answer. In that
way, you get to find flaws with your judgement. You get to justify which makes more sense
than the other. But, our minds think differently. You can never force another person to
follow your judgement. He/she might have their independent answer to a question. That
person might even affect your judgement. Just because something sounds right doesnt
mean we have to stick with it. Find better answers and more concrete evidence to support
your judgement.
