Motion to Commit With Instructions

lllllllllll moves to commit the bill

H.R. 1 to the Committee on Finance with instructions to
report the same back to the Senate in 3 days, not count-
ing any day on which the Senate is not in session, with
changes that
1 (1) are within the jurisdiction of such com-
2 mittee;
3 (2) strike provisions in the bill that would harm
4 individuals ages 50 and older by reducing their ac-
5 cess to affordable health care or limiting coverage or
6 benefits in the private health insurance market; and
7 (3) strike provisions in the bill that would in-
8 crease taxes for individuals ages 50 and older from
9 the date of the enactment of the bill until 2037.
