Subject: Memo for residents

Suggested Revisions

The tone of this memo is kind of harsh. I would remove the part saying "if you or your guests get towed,
don't call me."If I was a resident and didn't know the manager, I would assume he is a totalitarian. I
understand that repetitive bad behavior would annoy anyone, but as a business manager it is important
to maintain a positive composure. The rules and policies that are in place should be implemented, but
the additional dialogue scolding the residents is not necessary. Since the rules and policies were
mentioned, the responsibilities now fall on the residents. If they choose not to abide by the rules they
will accumulate fines. I would also separate the problem topics by inserting a header before each
paragraph. In my opinion, it would make it more readable and the fines associated with the problem
topics will be in the same section.
