As music director at Foshay Learning Center, Ive worked with Gabriel Escalante for the last two
years. As a junior, he was one of the first students to enroll in our Foshay music technology
program. In this program, Gabriel learned to create and record utilizing the Ableton Live
production program. Once he got started he immediately began to flourish and impressed
everyone, including the expert mentor/instuctors who assisted with instructing the students.

Gabriel is highly intelligent and a dedicated, hard worker who pushes himself to go beyond what
the assignment asks for. He takes great pride in his work. It is creative, well thought out, and
organized. He quickly attained an expert level in music technology due to his work ethic and
strong desire to be excellent. Gabriel is also the kind of person who enjoys helping others. He is
an excellent communicator and is frequently used to help instruct the class.

Gabriel has performed several times for events at our school as he is always eager to share his
gifts and participate when called upon. He is always well-prepared which gives him great
confidence in his work. Gabriel has a great attitude and is truly a joy to work with. He sets a
good example for his peers to follow and has high ambitions for his future.

Gabriel is a fantastic student who has represented the Foshay Learning Center with pride. Im
confident he will continue wherever he goes.
