Script for production #1 Halloween Night

Exterior Pavement Night
Zach and Annie are walking through the arcade laughing and giggling.
They stopped just before the camera.
Zack
Have you had a good night?
Annie
Yeah, I have, its been nice
Zack
Ive got one more surprise for you
Zach pulls out a key
Annie
Whats that
Zack
Follow me
Zach pulls Annie over to the caf on the right of them. Zach opens
the door and blindfolds Annie. He guides her to a table where
theres a cake with a candle in it. He then takes her blindfold off.
Surprise!
Annie
Oh my god Zach, this is so nice!
Zack
Just wanted to do something special for my best friend on her
birthday
 Annie
Thats cute, thank you!
They hug then sit down. The scene fast forwards of the two sitting
down and eating and chatting. The footage is overlapped with a clock
to indicate time passing. After the montage is over the scene cuts
to the arcade where two zombies slowly make their way to the caf.
Scene goes back to the caf, Zach picks up the plate and takes it
over to the sit. While Zach is cleaning the dishes the door on his
right gets banged on.
What the hell was that?
Zack
I dont know
Banging happens again.
Ill check on it
Zach slowly opens the door, he gets dragged out and the door slams
shut. Annie begins freaking out and screaming Zachs name.
Annie
Zachthis isnt funny come out nowZACH
Annie slowly gets up and walks towards the door. Hesitating she
finally opens the door. She quickly pushes it and slowly sticks her
head around the corner. She sees Zach passed out on the floor while
a zombie is feeding on his neck. She screams and runs to the front
door to see two zombies standing outside banging on the glass. She
attempts to run on the stairs but is greeted by another zombie
again. She slowly backs away into the caf. The camera zooms into
her face and she screams, blackout. The scene goes back to Annie and
Zach sitting at the table.
Zack
Annie, ANNIEare you okay?
Annie
Yeah, Im good I just had a weird day dream
Zack
Are you sure youre okay?
Annie
Yeah
Zach gets up to take the dishes to the sink just like he did in her
dream, theres a bang on the door again. Zach looks at Annie, she
begs him to not open the door, but he does so anyway. The scene
blacks out with a scream in the background.

shown multiple times.

make four of the six
actors to look like
zombie. I have a set time
to complete the looks, so
I must make sure I keep
to the schedule.

Lighting Information:
Theres not lights outside but there are in
the caf. It might be a problem outside
as I am filming at night, in the caf it
shouldnt be a problem.
Sound Information:
The caf is located on a high-street so
when I am filming outside I might have
a problem with cars driving by
interrupting the sound of the footage.
Power Information
There is a power source in the caf
however if I need lighting and need to
plug them in it might be a problem.
Hazards:
I will be using a knife in my production
which could be a serious problem if not
used appropriately.

I will use studio lighting for when I am
filming outside so that you can see the
actors on camera and I can give the
illusion of natural lighting.

I am hiring a microphone that will allow
me to create a higher quality piece
and will allow me to make the actors
sound clearer.

I will bring an extension lead just in case
I am not in arms reach of a plug from
the caf.
Solutions:
I will make sure that the knife is just used
for the scenes it is needed in and that
the actors who are using it, use it in a
sensible manner. There is a first aid kit in
the caf as well so if there are any
accidents we can have a kit at hand.
