Letter of recommendation

During the period Oana Popescu was a student of the National College Tudor
Vladimirescu, Tg.Jiu (from 09.02.2015 until present day), as a teacher of the class
she was in, I concluded the following:
Oana is a young woman with serious concerns for the development of
intellectual capacity, well informed, interested in areas such as psychology,
philosophy, foreign languages and exact science. With her extensive
communication skills, teamwork, leadership, she demonstrates the desire of
involvement in social life and in solving issues of public interest (school,
and local community), critical spirit, objectivity, fairness, reliability being
some of the qualities demonstrated during school.

She is part of a class that she involves in educational projects (Museum

Night, Library Night), she manages to get her classmates involved as
volunteers.
Oana is a young woman who knows, respects and encourages values like
freedom, responsibility, justice and tolerance.
She needs to trust her leadership skills more.
I believe her strengths are her ability to communicate and take action (both
in class and school) against the intolerant behavior of her classmates and
teachers; she likes critical dialogue and freedom of speech supported by
arguments.
I consider she has to correct her relative apathy towards the economic-social
context in our country; during the high school years, she managed to get
over her shyness and to be able to express her views.
I also think that in 10 years time she will be successful and she will perform
in any field where working with children and young people is involved, as
she is sensitive, willing, empathizes with those who are the same age and she
wants to change and shape characters and behaviors.
The humanitarian activities she initiated had a positive impact (on the
children in the Foster Care Center in Tg.Jiu, on the old people in the Nursing
home in Novaci); her participation in a bilateral project (Romania-Italia) has
contributed to a beneficial experience exchange for the two schools.
I believe that study programs in a foreign country develop multiple practical
abilities and the methods they use can prepare her for the real job market.
Oana does not have any preconceptions, she is tolerant and she feels
comfortable among multicultural and multilingual groups;
Her acceptance of diversity and the unconditional support of children and
old people coming from vulnerable groups, her encouragement of equality
and non-discrimination are qualities she acquired in school, which allow her
to study in multicultural environments.
