1. Introduction
These Star Wars Logo fonts are based upon the official Star Wars logo typeface.
Star Jedi is a titling (capitals only) font, with a lot of variations and connections. Please, take a look at the
charset tables and the samples below for details.
The Star Jedi family was created with the little shareware font editor Softy 1.07a by D.W.Emmett.

Installation: extract the contents of the zip file named starjedi.zip to a directory of your choice. You'll
find: starjedi.ttf starjhol.ttf Star Jedi font guide Word97.doc starjedi sample.jpg starjedi
hollow sample.jpg sample003.jpg
This is what the zip file should contain.
 Feel free to distribute the zip but remember to keep it intact and complete.

2. STaR Jedi
Star Jedi is a bold font that reproduces exactly the original Star Wars logos typeface. The small letters are
all capitals, while the capitals are serif variants. A few simple link-lines allow you to create complex letter
groups, as its shown below in the samples chapter.
Besides, youll find some dingbats reproducing the whole Star Wars logo letter group, the Imperial and the
Rebellion logos, etc.

There are also two link-underlines (<, >), one to the left, the other to the right.

The two types of T: the first (standard T, the small letter) is square-shaped, and is suitable with top-wide
letters; the other (narrow T, the capital letter) should be used always with A, O, Q, S, and before C, G, J.
Obviously youre free to do what you want, according with your esthetical preferences.

3. star Jedi hollow
Star Jedi Hollow is the contour version of Star Jedi, but, in order to mantain the capability to create letter
groups and connections, it must be quite different. Due to the nature of a closed contour glyph, you cant
simply apply closed link-lines or plugs on it without injuring the continuity of the contour. Contours to be
linked definitely must be open.
The small letters are the hollow version of the small letters in Star Jedi (all caps, sans serif) with a closed
contour; the capitals have an open contour, thats totally linkable.

3.2 Samples of star Jedi hollow

Here are some examples of the link lines, plugs and patches, highlighted in red. Its easy to create complex
letter groups that seem to be a single contour. You can connect a few letters or even all them, if you want.

As you can see the small letters are closed glyphs, while the capital letters are all open to any type of link.
You can link everywhere every letter, in order to display the titling you prefer.
The patches, the plugs and the links on the left of a letter must be inserted before the letter (you can go
back and insert them whenever is needed); the patches plugs links etc. on the right must be inserted after the
letter itself.
All these elements are at ease on your keyboard, and you wont be forced to digit the annoying Alt + 0xxx
keypad ASCII code; their position was optimized for the US/UK keyboard layout.
