    Dr. McGoverns exam format is as follows:

    The format of the exam is an essay. Students should produce an argument that synthesizes course
    material and is supported by evidence drawn from lectures, readings, and class discussions.
    Students should emphasize material covered on Nov. 28, Nov. 30, and Dec. 5.

    Students will be asked to define globalization and assess how globalization relates to global
    migration, transnationalism, and global consumerism.

    There are no length requirements, but most students will spend half of the exam session writing
    their essays. The essay is worth ten points.
